Pocket PC Warehouse

The Pocket PC Warehouse functions were designed to operate with a direct connection with the database. Therefore it requires a device with wireless access to the company network or constant connection to the internet. This ensures the user is working with current data at a better speed. The available functions are Shipping, Receiving and Physical.

The Shipping Function also supports scanning and it is designed for pickers to use it. This function saves labor costs as the person picking the order also generates the invoices. In addition to this, the incidence of errors is reduced as Pickers always take what they scan and find in the sales Order.

The Receiving Function also supports scanning and it is designed to aid in the receiving process. The User can scan Items and check if they were in the original Purchase Order. If the Item is found they will be prompted to enter the received quantity. Receivings will be saved with all the changes entered by the user until a supervisor approves them before posting. This function also reduces the amount of manual count errors in the warehouse as well as eliminating the problem of some items being counted as others

The Inventory Physical Adjustment was designed to edit an existing Inventory Physical transaction. It has scanning capabilities and it checks for the right values in the weight fields. This function does not post the transaction to avoid mistakes in the general ledger
